I turned quickly to see if Matt was still at my side or it had simply been a dream. There was no one, the bed was cold, but there was no doubt that someone had been there: I could not say for sure if he had spent the whole night at my side or if he had just been awhile and gone back to the couch, the question was that it was gone.
